INFANTS’ DAY

MASTERTON WEST SCHOOL.

ITEMS BY THE CHILDREN.

The children of the primer classes of the Masterton West School delighted their parents and others present yesterday afternoon to an informal entertainment, in which songs, recitations and dances, which formed part of their school work during the year were presented.

The headmaster, Mr J. P. Farrell, expressed his pleasure at the large attendance of mothers and introduced the infant mistress, Miss O’Hara Smith, under whose direction the proceedings were conducted. After the items, those present inspected the class work, which was d--played on desks and around the walls.
