KAIPARORO

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED WOMEN’S INSTITUTE MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the birthday celebrations of the Kaiparoro Woman’s Institute, a play' was presented by members of the Eketahuna Drama Circle and enjoyed. Songs were rendered by Misses R. Braddick. N. Braddick, Elva Dick and Shirley Braddick. Committee members acted as hostesses and were assisted by other members. The monthly competitions were won as follow: —Best bloom. Mrs G. Dick; best three blooms, Mrs B. Harvey; three Queen cakes, Mrs J. Dick. A competition for a quilt was won by Mrs F. Goggin.
