SCHOOL COMMITTEE FINAL MEETING OF YEAR. (“Times-Age” Special.) The final meeting for the year was held by the School Committee, all the members being present. The chairman expressed the committee's thanks to the head teacher for the great interest he had taken m the lamb and calf club. It was decided to hold a dance alter the children’s concert. The secretary was instructed to invite the Tuhitarata School children to the concert. It was decided to dispose of the emergency rations. Personal Items. Mr S. Thomas is at present home on leave. Mrs Makatca has returned from a visit to Wanganui. Mr J. A. McDougall has returned from Christchurch. Mr and Mrs Frank Seward have returned home. Mr J. H. Tilson, who had been in a private hospital, has returned to his home. / Mail Service Resumed. The mail service which had been suspended on Saturdays for the past two months, resumed its running last Saturday.
