About 75 per cent of your body is water, three-quarters of the brain is water, and there’s no such thing as being as “dry as a bone.” The bone in your body isn’t dry —it is composed of more than 25 per cent water. Water is meant to be drunk. If you don’t drink 'it you die of thirst. You should take three pints a day, and as much as possible should be clear, cold water —not coloured. Weak tea, indifferent coffee or austerity beer are all right in moderation and in their place, but too much of any of them can do harm. Pure water can’t harm anyone. It’s cheap, good, and plentiful. Perhaps you suffer from constipation. Half an hour before breakfast drink a glass of water, hot or cold. Drink at least two glasses between breakfast and dinner and between dinner and tea. Five to six glasses a day are advisable normally, and this jvith a properly re-

gulated diet and behaviour will help clear up your condition.

Don’t forget that water plays an important part in the chemical and.physical changes in the body. (It is not just stuff you wash with. Get the water habit—drink five or six glasses a day regularly. There is nothing to lose, but there is plenty to be gained by it,
