MEETING OF EXECUTIVE RECORD MEMBERSHIP. 964 AT NOVEMBER 30. The monthly meeting of the Central Committee of the Wairarapa Returned Services Association was held in Masterton last night. The president, Mr H. J. Brass, presided, and there were also present: Messrs H. G. Alexander, J. J. Andrew, J. G. Heasley, F. Martin, E L. Nicholson, S. T. .Smith (Masterton) C. A. Chennells, A. G. Rabbits and F L. Barr (Carterton), J. A. Halpin and J. W. Fellingham (Featherston), N. H. Thomas (Martinborough), and the secretary, Mr A. E. Prentice. A report showed the membership at November 30 to be 964, macle up of 851 Great War members and 113 present war members. That was the highest membership figure in the history of the Association, and exclusive of present war members the previous record membership of diggers of the Great War had been exceeded by 19. So far this financial year, 103 new members had been elected. Accounts for £l3O 9s 2d were passed. Twenty-three new members were elected, including 18 present war members. A number of cases affecting pensions and other matters of rehabilitation of present war members were dealt with.
