AMALGAMATION SCHEME ELECTION OF OFFICERS (“Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting of the South Wairarapa Local Association held in the Greytown Scout Den, those present were: Mr L. R. Huntley (chairman), Miss E. Gregor, Messrs H. J. Farley and W. H. Langford (Greytown), J. W. Fellingham and J. Farrier (Featherston), E. F. Fairbrother and M. R. Vaughan (Carterton). The chairman moved that a South Wairarapa Local Association be formed by the amalgamation of the Carterton, Clareville, Greytown, Featherston and Martinborough organisations. This was seconded by Mr Fellingham and carried. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Chairman, Mr H. J. Farley; secretary and treasurer, Mr M. R. Vaughan.
