COMPANY RETURNS Gillespie’s Beach return was 220 z for 13,990 yards in 129 hours. The Slab Hut Creek return for the week ending December 4, 1943, was 420 z from 14,480 yards in 116 hours. For the three, months to November 1, 1943, Pato Consolidated Gold Dredging, Limited, dredged 2,271,000 cubic yards for a return of 17,1270 z of fine gold, and recovered with its hydraulic units 41130 z of fine gold, the value of the total production being 743,400 dollars. During the same period Asazu Gold Dredging, Ltd., handled 1,256,800 yards for a recovery of 73020 z of fine gold, equivalent to 255,570 dollars. Associated Gold Dredges last week returned 185 ounces for 372 hours from 94,720 yards. The Rimu return for the ’ fortnight ended November 30 was 2400 z for 239 j hours from 72,022 yards. Maori Gold dredge last week returned 340 z for 82 hours from 8500 yards.
