LARGE ATTENDANCE AT TODAY’S LUNCHEON SIR HARRY BATTfcRBEE VISITS MASTERTON One of the largest and most representative meetings yet to be held by the Masterton Rotary Club took place today when Sir Harry Batterbee, United Kingdom High Commissioner, was the speaker. A report of Sir Harry Batterbee’s address appears elsewhere in this issue. Mr E. G. Coddington (president) who presided extended a warm welcome to Sir Harry Batterbee and the many visitors present at the luncheon. The Mayor of Ma'sterton, Mr T. Jordan, moved a vote of thanks to Sir Harry Batterbee, who was cheered at the conclusion of his address. . Mr A. J. Drew sang a solo and Mr S. B. McLennan was the accompanist.
