The concluding day of the Canterbury Jockey Club’s summer meeting is being held at Riccarton today. Results: — Suburban Handicap, of ll miles: 2/2 Voltaire, 1; 8/8 Gtinga Din, 2; 10/10 Gay Thread, 3. Scratched: Tavern Light, Miss Clorane. Won by half a length; two ■lengths. Time, 2.6. Canterbury Cup, miles: Kindergarten, 9.4, 1; Battledress, 9.4, 2; Trench Law, 9.4, 3. All started. Won by three-quarters of a length; 3 lengths. Time, 2.35 3-5. Kindergarten was favourite and Battledress third favourite. Seymour Handicap, 1 mile: First division: 2/3, High Play, 9.5, 1; 7/7, Langue d’Or, 7.12, 2; 16/16, Last Effort, 8.11, 3. Second division: 4/1, First In, 8.10, 1; 3/4, Sir Wina, 8.8, 2; 14/14, St. Nattar, 7.7, 3. New Zealand Oak Stakes, 14 miles: 1/1, Caithness, 1; 4/4, La Serena, 2; 5/5, Arustra, 3. Won by 12 lengths.
