MORE NEW ZEALANDERS' MOVED TO GERMANY VERY LITTLE DEFINITE INFORMATION REPORTS ON SOME ENEMY CAMPS (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Since its last bulletin was issued, the Prisoners of War Office has received advice of 205 more prisoners of war transferred to Germany from Italy, 83 of them being from Camps PG 103 and 107'and 61 from Camps PG 103 and 106, with 12 only from Camp PG 103 and the balance from ten other camps. There are still approximately 2,420 war prisoners whose whereabouts at present are unknown. Cabled advice has been received of a visit to Stalag VIII B by an International Red Cross delegate, and in October approximately 2,000 New Zealanders were interned there, part of a total of over 30.000 British prisoners. An International Red Cross delegate visiting Japanese camps states that the centre of Lugima, near Shanghai, holds slightly over 1,700 internees. It is arranged in a 60 acre compound, with a large and well-equipped kitchen for the preparation of children’s meals. Artesian wells supply adequate water and there is ample accommodation for indoor and outdoor sports and musical and theatrical entertainments. The Hakedata main camp holds approximately 407 internees, all from Java and Singapore. The camp has wooden buildings, electric light and coal stoves. Each prisoner is issued five Army blankets. There is ample hot water.
