Restricted, quantities of small fruits are coming to hand in Masteiton fruit shops. Strawberries are priced from 2s 9d upwards a chip. Cherries from Marlborough are retailing at 3s 6d per lb. Greytown cherries are practically unobtainable as high winds early in the season stripped the fruit from the trees. Gooseberries are available in quantity.
