OTHER PEOPLE’S IDEAS
“FORTY YEARS ON" f (To the Editor.) Sir, —I read with much interest the articles by “Forty Years On” and noted mention of my old friend, A. P. Fielding, familiarly known as A.P.F., or. fnore affectionately to the boys as f‘Dad.” Many were the Sunday evening teas enjoyed in the Y.M.C.A., pretoared by Mrs Fielding, when “Dad” and some of the members of the Y.M.C.A. used to go into the highways and byways and invite the young men to come along and spend a happy time ’with a sing song and an invitation to ; 'church or a friendly chat round the fire. It is also interesting to note from the report of the recent ' gymnasium display that “A.P.F’s.” grand-daughter iis carrying on the family interest, as a (physical culture instructress. Thanking you, —I am, etc., I OLD TIMER. > Masterton, November 27.
