DISPLAY OF WORK

AT WAIRARAPA COLLEGE , BRIGHT AND INTERESTING FEATURES. OUTDOOR CONCERT PROGRAMME. The Wairarapa College buildings were last night thronged with one of the largest gatherings of parents for many years, when the annual display of work was presented. The display featured an attractive array of beautifully finished articles in the woodwork and engineering sections, and fine exhibits in art and dressmaking. The art section was considered to be the best for some lime In woodwork, interesting exhibits were toys made for the primary schools. The toys arc produced in sections, which the children have to assemble. Many of the toys were on show, and were a credit to the boys and their instructor. A concert was given in the quadrangle by the pupils. The boys and girls sang most effectively. Taken all round, the display was of the high standard usually associated with the college exhibitions.
