MAURICEVILLE

PTE. W. CHEETHAM HONOURED DANCE ON SATURDAY NIGHT. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a large gathering of district residents and visitors at the Mauriceville Hall on Saturday night, when Private W. Cheetham was entertained at a dance. He was made a presentation by Mr J. W. Milner on behalf of the residents, and on behalf of the Table Tennis Club Mr H. Myers also made him a presentation. Mr Cheetham suitably acknowledged the gftis. Dancing was enjoyed to music supplied by Messrs J. West and Dick. Mr G. Wilson was an efficient M.C. Supper was served by the ladies.
