GREYTOWN
VEGETABLE GROWING INCREASED PRODUCTION. (“Times-Age” Special.) The past few fine days have resulted in considerable improvement being shown in the growth of vegetables in iocal gardens. There have been more vegetables cultivated this season than for some years past, due to the rationing and scarcity in other foodstuffs. Production should reach a record this season. Memorial Service. A memorial service will be held in connecstion with the death of Mr Jas. F. Wallis in the Presbyterian Church, Greytown, on November 28, and will be conducted by the Rev. H. Bloomfield, of Featherston. . .TOWN HALL “WAKE ISLAND.” The thrilling picture, “Wake Island,” will be shown tonight at the Town Hall with the portrayal of the chief characters in the hands of Brian Donlevy, MacDonald Carey, Robert Preston and Walter Abel.
