CHURCH SERVICES
The Holy Communion will be celebrated in St. Matthew's Church tomorrow at 8 a.m., and at Taueru at 9.45 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will preach at' St. Matthew’s at 11 a.m. on “British and Christian” and at 7 p.m. on “The Brave New World.” Captain Sutcliffe will conduct the afternoon services at Rangitumau and Kopuaranga and will preach at Kuripuni at 7 p.m. At Ruhamah Gospel Hall Mr Geo. Menzies will continue his addresses on Sunday afternoon and evening. Previous addresses given by him have been most instructive. Pastor D. R. Edwards will speak at both services at the Baptist Church bn Sunday. In the morning the subject will be “The Door of Hope,” and in the evening “The Amount of Faith Required.” The services in the Knox Presbyternan Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. D. W. Storkey. The subject in the morning will be “The Uncertain Trumpet,” and in the evening “The Triumphant Adequacy of Christ.” At the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow a family service will be held at 11 a.m. A Baby Creche and Nursery will be in charge of ’capable workers and parents are invited to bring the small children and leave them while they worship. The evening service will be conducted by Mr F. G. Rutter. At the Kuripuni Sunday School anniversary services will be held, when the scholars will lead the singing under the conductorship of Mr Mannell. On Monday evening the anniversary concert will take place.
