<> SITTING IN, MASTERTON, A LIGHT LIST. The fortnightly sitting of the Masterton Magistrate’s Court was held before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., this morning. There were no criminal cases and me civil list was light. Graham McCormick was fined 10s with 10s costs'for having parked a car longer than 15 minutes in Queen Street. Ivan J. Ingley was fined. £2 with- 10s costs for having failed to carry out the direction of the Masterton taxi control, committee. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the following undefended civil claims:—Elizabeth Nielssen v. Eric C. 0. Boyd, claim £l3l 17s 4d; Leonard W. Hutchinson v. J. R. Kirkpatrick, claim £5 Bs, costs £1 12s 6d; C. E. Daniell Ltd. v. Arthur R. Cottle, claim £ll 15s 6d, costs £2 16s; C. E. Daniell Ltd. v. G. V. Oldfield, claim £4 8s 3d, costs £1 4s 6d.
