DAMAGED. IN. CHANNEL PORTS. BOLD ATTACK BY BRITISH TYPHOONS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.25 p.m.) RUGBY, November 17. Two mine-sweepers, a trawler and a motor-launch were damaged by Typhoons attacking enemy-held Channel Island ports on Wednesday. The mine-sweepers were lying at the quayside in St. Peter Port, Guernsey. Intense flak came from the quay, but the pilots saw their cannon shells hitting the ships. Other Typhoons attacked a trawler and a motor-launch moored in a dock at Lezauoux, in face of intense anti-aircraft fire. Two of our fighters are missing.
