AMERICA IN WAR TIME
LECTURE IN MASTERTON.
Masterton residents will have a unique opportunity to gain first hand news concerning current events in many countries of the world, when the Dean of Christchurch, the Very Rev. A. K. Warren, visits Masterton on Friday, November 26. During recent months Dean Warren visited America as the New Zealand representative to the International Round Table Conference of Christian Leaders. During his visit to Masterton, Dean Warren will give a public lecture in Knox Hall, when his subject will be “America in Wartime; The Princeton Conference and PostWai’ Reconstruction.” The Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, will preside and extend a welcome to this distinguished speaker on behalf of the citizens of Masterton. A special invitation is extended to members of all local and national organisations which are interested in problems of post-war reconstruction.
