GREYTOWN
AIR TRAINING CORPS SECTION FORMED (“Times-Age” Special.) The formation of a section of the Air Training Corps took place at Greytown last night. To give their support to the movement Messrs A. W. Horton, J. Kiernan, G. F. Eagar, H. J. Farley, H. G. Carter, S. C. Shedden and J. Brooking were present. Eighteen boys were enrolled. Flying Officer Cunningham outlined the programme to be carried out, which included an early flight and a week’s camp during January. Personal Able Seaman Athol Ross has been visiting his parents, Mr and Mrs A. Ross, Main Street. Strawberry Crop Reports from the Papawai gardens indicate that the strawberry crop is well advanced and a few days’ sunshine will make them ready for marketing. TOWN HALL “I LIVE ON DANGER.” Chester Morris and Jean Parker will be seen tomorrow night on the Town Hall screen in “I Live on Danger,” a fast-moving story full of thrills and mystery.
