MEMBERS FAREWELLED
REVS. D. McNEUR AND A. C. LANE, t ‘ MINISTERS’ ASSOCIATION ’ GATHERING. ’ Members of the Masterton Ministers’ (Association and their wives gathered 'yesterday to honour the Revs. D. Mc1 Neur and A. C. Lane prior to their de--1 -parture from Masterton. The Ven. ■ Archdeacon E. J. Rich (president), ; spoke of the high esteem in which, the ’ Messrs McNeur and Lane were held, 1 and of the work they had accomplish- ■ ed. He stated that Mr McNeur was a ' past president of the association, while ' Mr Lane was secretary. Each had carried out his duties with, distinction. ; On behalf of the association Archdeacon Rich presented each with a book. In returning thanks the recipients spoke of their happy associations while in .Masterton. Afternoon tea was served. The Rev. G. H. Goodihan was appointed secretary of the association.
