HANSELL’S SPORTS CLUB
DANCE IN MASONIC HALL. ® COMPETITION WINNERS. There was a fitting climax to a most succesful season at the Masonic Ball, Masterton. last night when Hansell’s Sports Club held its final dance. The large crowd present thoroughly appreciated every minute of an enjoyable programme. An old-time waltzing competition, and novelty dances maintained interest in the proceedings. The prize-winners were: —Waltzing competition: Mr and Miss Pateete. Monte Carlo: Mr W. Needham and Miss N. Finn, 1; Mr P. Braggins and Miss E. Larsen, 2. Statue waltz: Miss D. Broadbent and Miss R. Olsen. Messrs J. Henderson and C. Harding
were M’s.C. Mr J. Henderson acted as judge for the waltzing competition. Ashton’s dance band provided excellent music, and an extra was played by Miss B. Hawke, pupper was served by the members of the club.
