Mr and Mrs L. Welch, of Mt. Bruce, Masterton, have received official advice that their son, Colin, is now safe, after having been two years a prisoner of war in Italian hands-. He was at Campo 78, No. 1 working party, Sulmona, when the prisoners were freed by the Italian guards at the time of the armistice.
