SECONDARY SCHOOLS

PROPOSED ASSOCIATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. ' A proposal initiated by the Marlborough College Board of Governors for the formation of a Secondary Schools’ Association has so far received the support of 13 boards out of the 27 approached. Five others favoured the project, but felt that the formation of a national body should be deferred till after the war. Only one board, Nelson, expressed definite opposition. Four others have not replied. The local board decided. yesterday to proceed with steps preliminary to drafting a constitution and rules, and will keep its sister boards advised.
