Discussions between the British and Turkish Foreign Ministers were continued throughout Saturday, according to Cairo messages. Sir H. KnatchbullHugesson (British Ambassador to Turkey) lunched with Mr Eden at the British Embassy today.

This afternoon Mr Eden attended a Rugby International match between South Africans and New Zealanders. The Springboks won by 22 points to 5. Mr Eden was accompanied by General Sir Henry Maitland Wilson, Comman-der-in-Chief in the Middle East.
