WAR SUPPLIES
CONVEYED FROM RUSSIA TO CHINA. BY WAY OF TRACTOR ROADS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW YORK, November 6. The Russians had been delivering war supplies to Chungking by tractor roads which they had developed in remote Soviet territories, said the Australian explorer, Sir Hubert Wilkins, when opening the Congress of Ameri-can-Soviet Friendship in New York. He said that the webways of such tractor roads had opened up vast fields for occupation and cultivation.
