Sir Herbert Hart has arrived in New Zealand. He is expected in Masterton shortly. Mr George Moore, of Waikaraka, East Coast, was admitted to the Masterton Hospital yesterday, having sustained a broken leg. The death has occurred at the Masterton Hospital of Mrs Lucy Burgess, widow of Mr Walter Burgess, of Mangamaire. Mrs Burgess was 61 years of age. The death has occurred in Wellington of Mr Henry Mainland, aged 80, builder and contractor. He was president of the New Zealand Federated Builders, Contractors and Industrial Association of Employers from 1920 till 1922, vice-president of the Wellington Employers’ Association from 1918 till 1923, and president till 1934, when he retired. He leaves a wife and daughter.
