CROQUET CLUB

MEMBER FAREWELLED An enjoyable time was spent on the Masterton Croquet Club’s green yesterday afternoon when a farewell gathering was tendered to a club member, Mrs P. Kennedy, who was welcomed by the president, Mrs Clayson, and presented with a dainty shoulder spray. The competitions resulted: Hit the stick, Mrs Kennedy; angles, Mrs Bassett; French croquet, Mrs Clayson. Afternoon tea was provided by the members and the president then handed Mrs Kennedy a gift and wished her every happiness and success in the future. Mrs Kennedy suitably replied.
