ATTACK ON BRITISH CONVOY REPELLED E-BOAT DAMAGED OR SUNK OTHER ENEMY CRAFT HIT LONDON, November 6. Aii Allied convoy passing through the English Channel today was attacked by German E-boats. Light forces of the Royal Navy drove them off. In the early part of the action a British destroyer hit three of the enemy vessels. One E-boat was badly damaged, if not sunk. Slight losses were suffered by the convoy, but the British naval ships returned to harbour without loss.
