TRAVEL BY TRAIN
NO RESTRICTIONS TO BE IMPOSED during holiday period (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 4. It is not the Government’s intention to impose restrictions on travelling during the holiday period. Persons wishing to travel by train will not need to obtain permits. Announcing this today, the Minister of Railways, Mr Semple, said all would be on the same footing. The railways would just have to carry as many passengers as they could.
