AGRICULTURAL CLUB
WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIPS-
TO BE HELD IN DECEMBER.
(“Times-Age” Special.)
At a meeting of the Wairarapa Committee of the Boys’ and Girls’ Agricultural Club,, held at Greytown and attended by delegates from each group, it was decided to hold the Wairarapa championship judging at Car ter ton on Saturday, December 11, at 11 a.m. It was decided that group committees notify the central secretary what benzine will be required to convey calves to the group and championship judging, and this informaion' will be forwarded to Mi' Hesse (Supervisor of Agriculture), who has made arrangements with the benzine controller, through the Hon. B. Roberts, Minister of Agriculture, to issue permits to each centre.
It was resolved that children be asked to bring their lunches and a cup. The committee will supply tea and other refreshments. Tentative dates for the group judgings are: —Martinborough, December 2; Featherston, December 3; Carterton, December 4; Masterton, December 6; and Greytown, Decembei’ 7.
