INCOME TAX
PAY AS YOU EARN SYSTEM . IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) RUGB.Y, November 2. The “pay as you earn” income tax payment method, it was announced in the House of Commons today by the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Sir John Anderson) will operate from the beginning of next year for all wage-earners. Manual as well as salaried workers up to £6OO a year will be included.
