THE TOWN CLOCK ITS FUTURE FATE. (“Times-Age” Special.) It is understood that the Post Office clock at Greytown is the only one that is now .operating, in the Wellington district. Perhaps its days, too, are numbered as the plans of the new Post Office provide for a one-storied building. Just what will be done with the clock will be a matter for the civic authorities to deal with in the near future as the erection of the new Pose Office is expected to be taken in hand at an early date. Personal Items. Mrs J. Hearsey, of Longburn, is the guest of Mrs H. G. Carter, McMaster Street. Aircraftman I. Keltic is spending leave with his parents, Mr and Mrs H. Keltic, Main Street. Mrs C. Rees, of Hawera, is the guest of Mrs B. Rees, McMaster Street. Mrs E. Wilkinson has returned to Wellington after having been the guest of Mrs F. V. Kempton. Bowling. There will be no play on the Greytown bowling green at the weekend. TOWN HALL MUSICAL COMEDY. At the matinee tomorrow afternoon and again in the evening there will be shown the sensational musical comedy “Priorities on Parade,” in which the chief roles are taken by Vera Vague, Jerry Colonna and Ann Miller, with Johnnie Johnston and his Jive Bombers.
