MINIATURE RIFLES SCORES IN COMPETITION. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following were the scores registered by members of the Featherston Miniature Rifle Club in a competition: —R. Johnson 98, K. Feast 94, A. Cross 93, K. McKenzie 92, Mrs Thurston 92, D. Feast 92, Mrs Clark 87, J. Gain 75, L.. Wall 72, K. Wenden 67, M. Hutana 65. Show Successes. The local sportsman, Mr W. J. McGill, was very successful at the Carterton Show yesterday with his two beau-, tiful Labrador dogs, “Dink of Egmont” and “Cleopatra Clare,” winning in all nine first prizes. COSY THEATRE TONIGHT’S PROGRAMME. . Tonight’s programme at the Cosy Theatre will be headed by the outstanding drama “Among the Living.’’ in which the chief roles are taken by Albert Dekker and Susan Hayward. The associate picture is an excellent story of the west, “Riding the Wind,” in which the principal character is portrayed by Tim Holt.
