DISABLED SOLDIERS

PAY IN BRITAIN AND NEW ZEALAND. (Special P.A. Correspondent.) LONDON, October 27. Major-General Sir . Alfred Knox (Conservative) asked in the House of Commons about the pay of disabled ex-service men at training centres, and added: “The New Zealand Government has instituted a scheme of £5 5s and £6 6s. a week.” The Minister of Labour, Mr Bevin: I dare say we shall be able to do the same thing when we get the same type of Government.” (Cheers and laughter).
