POLICE EXAMINATIONS
4 SUCCESSFUL WAIRARAPA CANDIDATES. Four candidates from the Wairarapa sat for the Law and Literary sections of the annual police examinations and t’.ll were successful. The candidates and the examinations they passed are: Constable F. L. Diggle _ (Masterton), examination qualifying him for promotion to the rank of Senior-Sergeant: Constable J. G. Fitzpatrick (Masterten), examination qual’iying him for promotion to the rank of Sergeant; Constable R. J. Bell (Mastertcn). literary examination qualifying him for promotion to commisssioued rank; Constable J. D. Gillies (Carterton), literary examination qualifying him for promotion to commissioned rank.
