FEATHERSTON
CROQUET CLUB SUCCESSFUL DANCE. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Featherston Croquet Club held a very enjoyable dance in the Town Hall on Monday night. The music was supplied by Mrs. V. Ashton and muchappreciated extras were played by soldiers. The ladies’ committee were responsible for the suppei' arrangements. Personal. Mrs. Evans, Petone, is visiting her mother, Mrs. J. B. McKenna. COSY THEATRE TWO BIG FEATURES. At the Cosy Theatre tonight there will be shown two big features. “Dark Journey,” starring Vivien Leigh and Conrad Veidt, is a thrilling spy drama, while “The Amateur Gentleman,” is a drama providing plenty of scope for good acting on the part of Douglas Fairbanks Junr. and Margaret Lockwood.
