French flying formations have been baptised with the names of provinces of France. “Alsace,” one of them, on July 27 was engaged with enemy flyers over Tricqueville. They shot down no fewer than five planes of a strong Focke-Wulf formation. Not a single plane of the “Alsace" squadron was lost.
