MAURICEVILLE

PRESENTATIONS MADE DANCE HELD LAST EVENING (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a large gathering of district residents and visitors at Mauriceville West last night when Private P. Foster and Staff-Sergeant Donald Cameron were the guests of honour. The music for the dancing was supplied by Miss Betty Grant and Mr Dick of Hastwells assisted on the drums.. Sergeant Pilot L. Forsberg was an efficient M.C. On behalf of the Mauriceville West committee, Mr A. Forsberg made a presentation to Private Foster and for the East committee Mr E. W. Cheetham made a presentation to Staff-Sergeant Cameron. Both men suitably replied. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mrs J. Baine and Mr G. Ruston. Supper was served by the West committee.
