TENNIS CLUB PROSPECTS FOR SEASON. (“Times-Age” Special.) The opening of the local tennis courts will take place on October 31, when some interesting games should be witnessed. The prospects for the coming season are good despite the war conditions. Personal Items. The many friends of Mr Alex Falkner, “Pinelands,” who is an inmate of the Masterton Hospital, will be pleased to learn that his condition at present is showing improvement. Flight Sergeant A. M. McLeod, of Featherston, has been spending a few days with Mr and Mrs J. H. R. Dick.
