Important changes in the German military and civil leadership are probable in the ne.ar future, according to the Stockholm newspaper “Svenska Dagbladett.” It says that the military changes will be connected with the German preparations to meet the Russian winter offensive, about which German military spokesmen have expressed fears. The changes on the home front will undoubtedly be connected with the increasing German defeatism, the centre of which is Austria and southern Germany. A large number of arrests were made recently in Austria and Alsace.
