FUNERAL HONOURS

• 4 ——- TO LATE SIR DUDLEY POUND. HALF-MASTING OF FLAGS. (By Telegraph—Press Association ) WELLINGTON, This Day. The burial of the late Sir Dudley Pound, recently First Sea Lord, will take place tomorrow, said the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) today. As a mark of respect to his memory and to the service he rendered to the Navy and to the cause of the British Commonwealth and the United Nations, it is desired that all flags on public buildings in New Zealand be flown at halfmast during the day. It would also be appreciated if commercial houses and private citizens who may be flying flags could hoist them at half-mast.
