Weather cloudy and cold with occasional rain, but slowly improving during tomorrow. further OUTLOOK: Cloudy and cool.
The Waingawa Sub-Station, P.W.D., reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday:—Shade temperature: Maximum 60, minimum 52, terrestrial 50. Sunshine, 1 hour 42 minutes. Rain, 24 points. The Waingawa SubStation reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:—Shade temperature: Maximum 64, minimum 47, terrestrial 48. Rain, 33 points.
Mr 11. M. Buddington reports that 24 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday, and 35 points during a similar period ended at 9 o’clock this morning.
