The Germans in Warsaw shot 40 of 60 hostages seized for the alleged killing of a German soldier. The Germans on Saturday shot 20 who were clad only in their underwear in one of the main streets. The popualce covered the pools of blood with flowers. The Germans 24 hours later in another street shot another 20. TJie shootings in both cases occurred in streets where the Germans alleged soldiers were killed.
