GOOD EARLY PROGRESS

AT THE MOSCOW CONGRESS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON. October 20. Full agreement was reached regarding the agenda at the first session of the three-Power conference yesterday, says the Moscow correspondent of “The Times.” The conference tackled the first real business at a meeting this afternoon. Messrs. Eden and Hull were accompanied by their principal military advisers, General Sir Hastlsmay and Major-General John Deane. The “Dealy Express” correspondent reports that every morning so far Mr Eden, Mr Hull, and M. Monotov have presided at separate conferences at which each has prepared himself for the joint talks in the afternoon. The second session today is reported to have “proceeded well and in a cordial atmosphere.” Moscow correspondents report that the Russians, who are noted for long night sessions, adjourned the conference early in deference to Mr Hull’s age (73 years). M. Molotov today gave a luncheon to the delegates, at which 20 toasts were drunk to Russia, Britain and the United States, and their leaders and armies. The function is described as an extremely friendly affair.
