Infectious Disease.

The health of lhe borough at present was quite satisfactory, stated the Mas-tc-rton Borough Health Inspector, Mr T. A. Russell this morning. Mr Russell said no cases of scarlet fever had been reported this year and the last case of diphtheria was on August 4. In August there were two cases of cerebro spinal meningitis and in September another two, with one death. The last case was reported on September 26.
