VEGETABLE CONTRACTS For Processing, Dehydration, Military Supplies and Home Consumption. CARROTS, PARSNIPS, CABBAGES, SWEDES COMMERCIAL GROWERS of the above vegetables may apply for a contract with Internal Marketing Division for delivery at either Wellington, Palmerston North, Hastings, Gisborne, Blenheim or Nelson, on the following conditions: — 1. Application for terms of contract to be made to Internal Marketing Division, Box 763, Wellington, not later than October 25. 2. Application to state intended acreage of each vegetable to be contracted for, together with statement of previous year's production. 3. Application to state delivery point. 4. Signed contract to be returned to Internal Marketing Division by October 30, 1943. 5. Division to have the right to accept or reject contract applications according to its total needs and locality of each type of vegetable. 6. Contract prices to be those discussed some time ago. Where groups so desire, departmental officers will arrange to meet them and explain the contract system more fully. » !
