ST. LUKE’S CHURCH PATRONAL SERVICE (“Times-Age” Special.) The Rev C. H. Isaacson, of Wellington, was the preacher at both services at St. Luke’s Patronal Festival on Sunday. In the evening the church was filled. After the service supper was served in the Sunday school. Personal Items Mr H. Lowe, of Wellington, has been the guest of Mr and Mrs E. Richards, McMaster Street. Mr G. Leigh, of Wellington, was the guest of Mr and Mrs T. N. Smallwood for the weekend. Miss C. Keddell, of Wellington, was a weekend visitor to Greytown. Social Gathering and Dance The Greytown Citizens’ Committee will hold a social gathering and dance in the Town Hall on Wednesday evening. The guests of the evening will be soldiers on final leave. Extension of Cemetery Councillor Trotman asked at the Borough Council meeting last night that the Cemetery Committee be requested to prepare plans for the extension of the cemetery. It was decided that the committee bring down a report at the next meeting. Heavy Traffic Fees At the meeting of the Greytown Borough Council last night it was reported that the heavy traffic fees allocated to the borough this quarter amounted to £53 10s 9d as compared with £44 16s 8d in the same quarter last year. TOWN HALL “REAP THE WILD WIND” At the Town Hall tonight there will be shown an excellent drama, “Reap the Wild Wind,” the principal roles in which are taken by Ray Milland, Paulette Goddard, Robert Preston and John Wayne.
