In the latest list of awards to members of the Second N.Z.E.F. is the name of Lieutenant-Colonel M. C. Fairbrother, formerly of Masterton. Lieutenant-Colonel Fairbrother, who has been previously mentioned in despatches, has been made an Officer of the Military Division of the 0.8. E.
