Y.M.C.A.
LADIES’ AUXILIARY MEETING SHOP DAY TO BE HELD The monthly meeting of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A. was held in the Y.M.C.A. rooms yesterday, Mrs H. Bannister presiding. The resignations of Mesdames Blake, Gaze and Thomas were received with regret. Two new members were nominated —Mrs A. Callister and Mrs J. A. Kennedy. Hostesses for the hostesses’ evenings were arranged. Arrangements were made for a shop day to be held on November 10. Members will be very grateful for gifts of produce, flowers, plants, cakes, clothing, etc., with which to stock the stalls. Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Rayner, Taylor and Corskie. A bring and buy stall was held. The next meeting will be held on November 11.
